tHe CrAzi3St DaY ...

Well , yesterday (monday) , We left our office @ ard 4.15pm after i emailed the prof the corrected manuscript. Luckily we got stuffs to do after our lunch yesterday - which was to correct some report thingy. Then i also surfed the internet for some nice places to go in Shanghai ... found quite a few .. and some comments that i saw online sounded real cheeky lo ...

One example would be a american expat said :
"In shanghai, there's always some mucus-challenged man/woman who would use their full lung power to cough out those muscus and i would use matrix stunts to avoid getting spitted on !" - edited by me ...

haha i was laughing all the way lo. and mani more comments ther too ... In the end , after much careful selection, i jotted down a few places which interest me. Gng to visit these places soon .... gotta plan first.

Okay, yesterday i mentioned in my blog that i was gng 大宁（大润发）after work with roomie rite? We left work at ard 4.15pm after i succeeded in emailing the prof the manuscript he wanted us to correct. We ate in the school canteen before setting off to the supermarket. Had quite a satisfying meal in the cold weather. As soon as we walked in the entrance of the supermart , we hunted down a trolley and started the spree ~~

First station was the bread section , and we took one green tea bread/cake each. Then we walked ard and saw BANANAs . Been wanted to buy a bunch long ago but gave up because of the price. However, in the end at the offer section , we still bought a bunch which costs like 4.64rmb. Think the craving for bananas surpassed the cost aspect. Then we went to the 2nd level to shop for tidbits/drinks/miscelleneous. overall spent like 86 rmb of which 50 bucks belong to my food. Lolx.. no choice , i love food ... by the way , yesterday was Mel couldn't resist most of the items , she kept asking : "没有了啊?" like she couldn't get enuff of what we bought ... scary =P anyway, throughout the shopping spree , we joked/laughed/bickered alot... seemed like old friends shopping tgt, juz love that interaction , so natural and true... missed all my friends ...

On our way to the metro station (Mrt) , we walked past the grand Shanghai Circus stadium. Then Mel caught the eye of the big poster advertising on the latest performance "Space". She was contemplating whether to go or not , din know she is interested in such performance wan coz i was considering the circus performance long ago.. anyway, if she's gng, at least i found a company liaoz .. if not i wun go alone wan .. so sianz, dun like watching the whole performance alone. I shall pray she would make the decision soon ~~~

Well here's come the main craziest part (though last nite have some conflicts with dear) :

Dunno whether isit because of the weather or any miraculous pill that made roomie Mel so "high"yesterday . Throughout the Mrt journey, we were like joking/teasing/laughing frantically all way .. can still remembered vividly a scene when we were walking to change train at people sqaure tt long passage, we were talking abt something when a man 偷听, then Mel blurted out : "鸡公"(鸡婆的男人) . Think the man heard what she said ... at the moment i was shocked but laughed quite crazy till i made those "pig's groaning" sound. The 2 of us were like sniggering frantically like 2 crazy women . So funny lo ... furthermore , Mel kept saying something which made me continued laughing till my stomache cramps lo ... buai tahan, guessed yesterday was the happiest day since i arrived in shanghai ... felt so carefree , enjoying life without any 烦恼, dun have to bother abt anything too~~ wondered when would the next such day would come ... *sigh*

Anyway , gotta thank god for letting me meet roomie Mel . Mayb i am fated to have a gd friend for company in my stay in Shanghai. Lolx.. still remembered a friend who told me tat : "the best time to know a friend well is by living with him/her" and he started dislike his 10 yrs friend after staying with him .... Life's so strange ! Anway, guess roomie already know me inside out after these 2 mths of living. like what she mentioned "her blood flowing in mine and mine flowing in her" ... haha ... can safely say that we are still getting along well with each other though we more or less know each other bad habits .. think 'comprising' and 'understanding' is the words to get along with ... though sometimes we want to vomit blood =P

Yo anyway i shall start from blog from Sat night onwards ...



Well , tt nite(SAT) since me n mel decided to enjoy ourselves at home , we invited Yuan shan n Whye Heng to our room and watched Hannibal Rising tgt since they did not go clubbing too ~~~. While our hse people - Marg , Shimin tgt with Yushan(suzhou friend),Ying Si and Jiaxin went to KTV overnite. Me n mel din go was that we were too tired as well as to be at home is better than to be entertain outside. Well , no representative from our unit went to Mathew's birthday at the club . Continue to be the "outcasted" grp . Qiaoli was having headache after her nap so she did not join them too ~~~ in the end she joined us watching the movie. Tt Whye Heng took his own sweet time in coming to my room , he reached when we watched finish the movie. ANyway , talking abt the movie, nuttin special ... juz depicting how Hannibal seeked revenge ... at least watching movie in my cosy room beats gng out in the nite.



After Whye Heng came , Qiaoli left the room and went to bed . The remaining 4 of us played "Daidee". Melissa was reluctant to join us in the first place but was later persuaded by us to join in . (***Too bad Mel ) hehe . Mel was smart, she learnt the game pretty fast and won several rounds. **Applause please. We played cards in the company of music from Yuan Shan's lappie. A nice small gathering in the nite, like the feel in some chalet =P Of course , now n then, we chatted and gossiped. lolx... Till 4.30pm , we stopped the game and went to bed . Whye heng went back to his flat too ~~~ At first , WH suggested to play till 6am, but of course we did not go with his idea la,u want my life mehz ?


The next mrng (Sunday), i woke up at ard 10.45am when Yuan Shan was leaving. But din got up until 11.30am. Hee .. had some biscuits and milk , then watched TV with Mel. The rest was sleeping in their rooms. Until 2pm , we could not take it and went to take a nap. Tink the 2 of us very tired after the long nite playing cards , i woke up ard 5.15pm and did the mopping of the house while Mel woke up ard 6pm. Hehe ... then we went up to Yuan Shan's place.


I was delighted tt finally got the chance to taste SINGAPORE's curry since i arrived in Shanghai 2 mths ago. Yuan shan - the big chef , invited me n Mel to her hse to taste her first time cooking experience. So we have to give our hse dinner a miss and went up to support Yuan Shan . Hee ... waa .. the curry powder was brought from Singapore, tt's why it's v diff from the curry cooked in Shanghai . Got the SIngapore taste. Nice job Yuan Shan .. next time try something new k ? We had the dinner with Yuan Shan's flatmates plus Yi Xian . Nice fulfilling dinner. lolx. i am a glutton , pardon me please but My dream is to try mani mani mani new dishes each day .. so MEL , b prepared k .. we shall gain weight tgt in shanghai =) lolx.


Well , planning to go Da Ning (shopping estate) near Shanghai Uni after work to stock up food in my room . Think pocket gng to get burnt again . Nvm , food can make me Happy ~~ Okay .waitin for lunch time to come in 30 minutes. Well .. what to have for lunch ... (***scratching hard for ideas) haha ... Oh ya, Mel , dun scratch ur head too hard k ... *snigger*

My future activities with roomie MEL :
1. to go to acarde with WH & Yuan Shan
2. To start visit Shanghai Urban Planning Centre / Museums/ Zoos etc
3. To visit more places with cultures
4. To shop for bags, shoes , heels & clothes etc. (Please control me, Melissa).

SJTU tour ...

Today was like yesterday .. had a boring day in university studying history. Boring .. but i love SATs coz on half day then like 11.50am can leave sch. Todae was special as after the lessons , we went to the SHANGHAI JIAO TONG UNI (SJTU) MINHANG CAMPUS , the newer one to have a small tour. Though the attendance wasn't gd , but at least 15/28 out of total people turned up. Anyway , the school arranged a big comfortable coach for us . It took us abt 1 hr to reach the venue lo, almost fell aslpon the rocky journey.


Once we reached the campus, i had a big shock lo. The campus is v v v v (x100 size of NTU) big. Think if the students wanna travel from blocks to blocks , gotta take the shuttle bus or cycle ba. Ah bor can walk until die. Hehe .. when we alighted from the coach , everybodi was rubbing their tired eyes . Think after the history lessons in the mrng,the mood all dampered . Firstly , we were brought to this audi where they were abt 4 students waiting . Shortly after , they introduced themselve and gave us a brief idea of SJTU history and Shanghai's . After which, all of us had to self-introduced oursellves. Then those SJTU students tried to make us enthu abit more by "forcing" us to say something abt shanghai. Bua tahan lo .. din know NTU students not spotaneous wan , in the end let the 2 NUS exchange students talk ! ..... Oh well ... no comments. Then we were brought ard the campus in coach. We came to this entrance gate where big words of "Shanghai Jiao Tong Uni" in chinese in front of the gate and we took pics ther. U know omething, some gates actually costs 5 millions RMB to be builT ? Wondered how much does the whole campus costs >> shld be billions ! Then we walked long distance to this EE (electrical engr) block to see the history of SJTU. There were exhibitions on the past history of the uni . Not bad, have increased my knowlledge . Also got the chance to interact with the SJTU students, they were a bunch of nice people. Anyway , also got irritated by some childish acts during the tour but din spoil my mood eventually. Was enjoying the trip with Roomie.


The trip ended like 3 hrs. And the coach took us to CAO BAO rd and let us alighted. We were hunting for some dinner places where the restaurant "小肥羊" caught our eyes and we juz went in . todae was special as we had 3 people joinin us , they are Ying Si, JIa xin and Zhi ZHong. Anyway,Ying Si and Jia xin are newly added members of our "gang" ... .The restaurant serves steamboat and of course with Lamb meat ... actualy most dishes were LAMB meat la , but it's nice !!! Total we spent like 415 rmb for 9 persons ba. Then we went home after a hearty meal ~~~


ANyway , todae not go clubbing ...to celebrate Mathew's birthday, staying home with Mel later insteadto watch a movie "Hannibal Rising" . The rest gng Ktv the whole nite . Juz dun feel like gng out .... love my room and roomie !!!!

Papa Johns

Yeah finally have the chance to taste the pizza done in Shanghai yesterday. We went eat at Papa Johns. Heard tt name b4 ? Coz think in Singapore also has this store. Yesterday after work , me n mel went to meet up with Marg n Ql at 东昌路 ，me and the M&Ms reached the station at 5.10pm , since we were earli so we decided to go look for the restaurant first. Yesterday was a rainy day , whole day was raining. And we gotta walked in the battering rain with the strong howling wind in search for the restaurant. Of course we got the umbrella on hand. We walked out from exit 2 to try our chance. After seeking help from a traffic control personnel - a lady , we walked in the direction in search of 820 世纪大道路, but after walking some distance, we found tt we were drifting further from the numbers. SO at a junction , we asked another traffic control personnel, and he asked us to walk in the direction which was to literally walk back to the MRT station. Diaoz...wasted our time lo. But not bad la, coz on the way back ,we came across this small fruit shop selling the mini mangoes t $3.80 per jin. This price is so much cheaper than the one selling at the supermarket near my flat which is at $8.80 per jin. What a Difference rite ... tO FULFIL my mango craving , i bought some. Sinful sia ~~~


We met Ql at the mrt station and we juz walked to exit 3 and saw the restaurant when we juz came out from the exit. OMG .. walked so much for nothing . Nvm .. treat the walking as exercise before meal ... actually opened up my big appetite =P Hehe ... okay , here's what we ordered :
1. 9"inch pizza named SHANGHAI TREASURE
2. 9"inch pizza named Alfredo Deluxe
3. Papa's sampler platter (with chicken wings, onion rings and wedges)
4. Chicken with mushroom calzone
5. Apple pie with ice cream

Total costs : 194 rmb = $<9/pax


The pizza was much nicer that what i ate back home. The shanghai treasure abit bland but after added some cheese , tasted not bad. The bbq chicken wings were the BEST .. so juicy lo ... Hmmm... Muz try out the Pizza Hut here. Though my pocket will burn a hole sia...now already start burning liaoz. lolx... MEL please control me =P haha .... Cant wait to try out the Brazalian BBQ restaurant in April. Hehe every mth , we got the chance to eat nice food as we will be celebrating our housemates birthday , though Mel and Qiaoli's birthdays are in Nov and Dec respectively. Muz have some good food to satisfy our mouth craving what .. Sinful sinful ...


Talking abt today (THUR) another rainy day ... So sianz , made my jeans wet and dirty. Muz wash the jean soon liaoz. Todae nuttin special in the office too ~~ juz chatted with Yuan Shan n Mel on msn . Then after lunch , went to the Environmental lab ther to take some pics which will come in handy when we do the website thingy . Guess what , the lab was in a corner of the level , then looked v old with all the stained equipments. But the lab was filled with students doing their masters' research. After which ,we were brought to the 3rd floor to take pics of other labs. This time round , these labs are more professionally looking , at least the equipments look new and sophiscated ! Looks more like a Uni's lab. Lolx... anyway , felt stupid to take those pics as i dunno what to write up on . Hehehe ...


Now back in the office ... finishing up my attachment report .. gng to go home soon .. well settling the dinner thingy with Mel ... =P

Monday Blues ~~~

Earli~~~~in the morning gotta wake up to go to work .. it's monday once again !!! Yt nite slept v v v earli , think like 10.15pm ba, super tired nwdays, muz b at nite could not sleep well ba, dunno well my mind juz couldn't shut down properly in the nite. Haha .. muz bb the stupid bed and pillow , so different from home wan...miss my Singapore Bed liaoz =)


Oh well .. the same routine everyday - went to work with Mel , sometimes she will talk with me , sometimes we juz walk like zombies lo... but everyday the train is packed with people , esp at People Square where we transfer to line 1 train, gotta squeeze with people carrying luggages as they are alighting @ Shanghai Railway Station. Buai tahan .. kinda used to this kind of pushin & squeezing life ba, juz hope that i will adapt back when i am in Singapore. Haha .. In the office also nuttin to do, lacked once again .. but at least this time round, got YUWEI <> entertained by sending emails ... OMG , they like MSN chatting lidat , short emails each time and my mailbox actually hit 40 over emails lo... Buai tahan .. Haha but v entertaining, esp mx's IQ qns .. still could not figure our the ans !!!!


After work , juz went makan in school b4 gng home. I discovered school food is getting nicer with each passing day ... hehe after reaching at our home station , we went shopping for stuffs @ NONG GONG supermarket . I bought quite alot of tidbits and drinks , mel also . Coz i love to see my cupboard filled with food ... makes me happi lo ... at least when i am hungry or feel like bitting something , i can eat !!!! Haa .. though it will make me FAT .. i dun care ... lolx. Anyway , ytd yuan shan came to my room and we talked . It's a good thing to have someone coming down to talk , abt everything under the sun.. juz chat lo ... ah bor at nite dunno what can b done ... mayb someday , me n mel can go up her flat n slack ... hahah ... (okay ? )


This mrning came to work , the usual stuff la .. OH ya , i remembered something ... A few weeks ago , me n mel saw a mother breast-feeding her baby right in the train packed with people. Her breast were like all shown liaoz ... my god , think because she and her husband like from those village kind, so they dun mind such things ba .. though alot of peope were like staring at her lo ... My god.... then there's this day when the 6 of us were on our way on the train , i saw a mother with a son begging for money in the train itself. Cant believe what i saw sia ~~~ The son was like abt 6 yrs old nia, then his eyes got small cut lines on his eye lids and he do not have any eyebrows .. like being slashed b4 .. i mean those purposely slashed marks coz it's v evenly cut ... wonder whether it's the mother's doing .... felt so pity for the child lo... After alighting from the same train, i saw another child with his family , this child is more fortunate as he was wearing skate shoes and being pampered by his parents. Totally 2 EXTREME cases in a day .... haiz ... dunno what to comment also . Juz feel that after this trip , i hope to make a difference somewhere ...

Well this pic shows the delicious food that me n MEL ate on Sat in the Shanghai Old street .. Appearance wise is already making me drool ... hee ... there's crab, fried bread, beancurd , bamboo rice , jiao zi and desert (peach with nata de coco) ... these food are actaully delicacies from diff countries. If got chance , can try again .. =P


Imagine e 2 of us enjoying the food ... bet alot of people are envious liaoz .... hahaha

Another SUNDAY has passed !

Todae v v v v v sleepy sia .. ytd din had a gd slp cos i kept waking up in 2 hrs interval , also dunno why , insonmia !!! Haiz .. nwdays still slept ard 11pm but everyday is the same, sure feels tired wan ... die la, muz b the age is catching up liao. Anyway, todae woke up at 10.30am , after brushing teeth and having my "fei lun hai" biscuits , i channel surfed a while b4 getting ready to go out with my dearest roomie , Mel . Yesterday , ard our sch area , she bought a book on WENTWORTH MILLER but found tt the pages in the mag are sticked tgt so had to return to the store to exchange .


We took the DA CIAO 6 XIAN and alighted @ XU JIA HUI stop, the journey took us ard 50 mins, but luckily we got seats along the way ther. V sianz ... this bus is always crowded no matter what day of the week. After alighting at XU JIA HUI , we walked some distance to the newspaper stand near the school, luckily the uncle was willing t o exhange the book and mel bought another copy for marg. Then we juz shopped ard tt area (right mel ? ) =P. Waa .. the wind was cold todae and it was strong. Luckily i wore thick enuff to withstand the coldness.


Follow which,We went to the computer mall that we went on Sat to look for mel's chinese-english electronic dict. Waa.. there's so mani designs and brands to choose from ... but think Mel's more interested in the BESTAS V5000 which costs ard 600rmb. The price in diff malls differ alot lehz.. for the same model , can range fro 500-898 rmb. Muz b careful in shopping ard .... In the end , we did not get anything as mel could not find the type she wanted - those with thesarus . By the way, after shopping for the dict , then i realised i still had not have my lunch and it was aldy 3.30pm liaoz ... No wonder i felt weak and soft ! Haha .. So we went to the nearest mall to have KFC . Finally got the chance to have KFC though i din try the chicken. I had the zinger meal , not bad , juz tt the serving is small . The meal set comes with a corn salad and fruit punch.


After the semi-full lunch, we decided to set off for home. Guess the 2 of us were tired liaoz after the walking and asking ard . At first, i wanted to take the bus home. But too bad, i could not find the bus stop , so paiseh to make Mel walked the wasted steps in hunting for the bus stop. In the end, we took the train home. SAfe and Fast . Hehe but the bad thing was tt the train was packed too ~~~ Pushing ard is not avoidable.


Talking abt todae's dinner .. our big chef TAN SHIMIN has cooked us delicious and healthy home-cooked food , Thank You very much ! Think after more practice , the of us can be a good cook liaoz, so guys , take ur pick soon =) Lolx. Now the time is 10.10pm and i am feeling sleepy , i was dozing off as i was typing this blog ... so Gd nite Guys ... tmr gotta work liaoz ... sianz

Well todae woke up @ 6.20am and got ready to leave the hse with my flat mates @ 7am. QL, Mel and i left the home first to meet Ying si at the bus stop while marg, mx and sm were still preparing to leave the home for school. As we knew tt 7.15am , there would be a bus so we tot better b earli than late ! Of course we got on the bus on time but missed Yuan shan n pauline as they were a minute late ... heard tt they managed to catch another bus 2 minutes after ours.

Todae , we were punctual for the class, in fact we reached the sh bus stop @ 8am nia becos todae the bus-driver drove damn fast lo. Then we went to YUNG HO DOU JIANG to buy breakfast (only yingsi,jiaxin, ql,sm and marg marg). After which, we proceeded to our classroom but it was locked as we were stil earli. So we went to another classroom to slack first. Todae only had history lesson. As todae school was half-day nia, like from 8.30am to 11.50am with a 20 minutes break in between. But having history lesson whole day was shitty ... the prof Gu was like talking abt the Opium War , it was actually a nice subject but the way he taught is boring ba, made me wana sleep lo. Luckily got the 20 minutes break tt can rest my brain while lo. Hee =) and very soon the lesson ended @ 11. 55am , finally was relieved of the ancient times ! Waahahah ....

As planned, after school should have gone to "7 pu"street wan but as me n mel had juz went on THUR , we decided to set off to OLD SHANGHAI STREET instead. Actually very long ago, during one time, when we were on a bus which went past the place, we alredy decided to tour ther one day and we finally had the chance. Hehehe was excited la ... after having lunch tgt at a small shop near the Uni, we took the MRT to EAST NAN JING LU . Then from the "BU XING JIE" , we spilted into 2 grps. So me n mel walked like 15 mins to FU YOU road. We went to the FU YOU WHOLESALE CENTRE juz next to Shanghai old street. Waa .. the whole mall was filled with shops selling little stuffs like handphone accessories , soft toys , beanies , notebooks , models , handicrafts etc. Mel and i was damn delighted lo .. though we knew tt we gona spend a bomb liaoz..haha in the end , i bought some designed pens, notebooks and a PIGGie Radio speaker . Total spent like 50rmb. Not bad liaoz ... luckily Mel was ther to control me ! Hahah thanks MEL ... okay to prevent us from spending more in the mall , we set off to shanghai old st fast . Hehe ...

Okay when we juz stepped into the boundary of the street , we saw mani shops selling those traditional stuffs like chinese handicrafts , souvenirs etc. But we first went to buy some drinks to quench our thirsty throat. Actually , Mel wanted to buy the "XUAN YUE GUI LING GAO MI LU" but it was out of stock liaoz so the two of us had "YUAN YANG MILLK TEA" instead , it was a medium serving (5rmb). Not bad taste too ~~~ So we continued to explore the place. **** SAW mani ang mohs there yo .... Marg marg , dun be jealous k !!! We went to mani shops to look ard , though we din realli enter the shop ... we were juz looking ard to see if anything catched our eyes . but in the end ,we were blinded by the food in the food street !!!!!!! SIN SIN SIN SIN SIN SIN ........... But we only shared one "Fried Cai Bing", nice leh, though the outer skin tasted like fried doufu skin and the inner has the juciest vegs !!!! Yummy ~~~

Holding on our milk tea and the cai bing , we continued exploring the place. The whole place was damn spacious , got alot of shops selling traditional stuffs , of course some are expensive sia ~~ We could only LOOK & cant' BUY ! But not sad la, coz nothing catches our eyes except FOOD !!! Wahahahah ... Then we saw this food centre that has a great whole variety of food lo, FASCINATED was the word to describe us at tt point of time. hahaha ... and we decided to settle our dinner ther . Ard tt place , there were mani other food shops selling unique snacks like smelly toufu (***waa the smell was v v v v v v nice) hahah . Saw mani other snacks like "mei hua gao" , diff. unique beans , sticks of meats , soothies , deserts etc. But before tt, we wanted to explore finish the place first. So we walked and shopped ard till 5.35pm when our foot juz took us juz into the food paradise !!! Hehe .. first, we took a tray each then went in this gate to mani diff counters selling diff types of food. The food costs from 8rmb-28rmb per serving. As mel n i have decided the food budget tobe 100rmb, so we juz took watever took our liking lo. In the end , we took 5 dishes ,as for the names , i forgot la .. here is the pic .... ( next time then post ba coz cant post the pic up lehz, think the internet connection is faulty). Hehe anyway, the meal costs us 67rmb but we enjoyed very much la .. the whole shopping trip was enjoyable and fresh , at least saw what we loves to see, saw ang mohs , ate what was unique & diff etc. When it was like 7.30pm, we decided to leave for home as we already combed the whole place liaoz. We walked out from the food centre, looking for the direction to take the bus home.

After walking for quite some time, we discovered we were walking further away from the bus stop , so we decided to walk to the nearest MRT stat which was EAST NAN JING ROAD. OMG, u know what ~~~~ we walked in the BIG BIG WIND for an hr , gd exercise huh =P Lolz .. waa dunno why the wind seemed so strong tonite , we were feeling tt we were almost being blown away by the wind !!!! Thank god tt after some struggles , we managed to get to the station safely. Lolx ... and reached our home safely .

Okay, time to talk to my dear liaoz ... have a nice weekend people .. esp MARG who will be setting off to a trip to zhe jiang !!!! Take care ...

Started Electives in Jiao Tong University (shanghai)

=( sad ... sch in jiao tong uni started on Friday , v sianz to realise tt , coz 8.30am gotta reach sch liaoz , and the whole journey took us like an hr ... Ytd , the whole family got out of the flat@ 7.10am and reached the bus stop @ 7.15am, and we were juz in time to catch the bus. We also saw Yuan shan and Pauline on the bus with us. we reached the sch @ 8.15am , but we still had to walk to the east entrance as the bus we alighted were at the west entrance. When we reached the where all international school students were gathered , we were welcomed by the sight of "ang mohs" & u noe what , someone was damn excited lo *** (dun wanna sabo tt person). Anyway, we realised tt we were the only one who reached , the other bunch of people were late . Then our in-charge actually told us tt the 5 teachers waited for us since 8.10am for a photo session . Damn paiseh lo , coz noone remembered tt we had to be ther by 8.10am. Wats worse was tt there were so mani late-comers.


Anyway , we were led to the classroom number 323 at the 3rd floor . WELL , the room's furniture looked new and stylish, better than Ntu lo. There were already one teacher in the room waiting for us when we entered. He is prof ZHUANG , has the same surename as me .. hehe but his full name is ZHUANG LAI LAI (***eh uhm ... ) He is gng to teach us on "culture exchange" . We were told tt we will be having 5 different modules , mainly 1.Culture exchange 2. Chinese Lit 3.Han yu 4.Chinese history 5.Chinese economy. OMG ... One period is like 45minutes , starting from 8.30am. Then 10am ,there will be a 20 mins break . 11.50am is our lunch time till 1.10pm. We are dismissed @ 4.30pm. Ytd only had two diff modules, the second one washaving han yu lesson by prof LU YING. She is a nice teacher but her lessons are fated to be not tt interesting ... at least she tried telling some jokes and playing some han yu games. Had a long day in the sch lo. The lunch we had with the 2nd level guys and with yuan shan n pauline at a restaurant near the sch. BUT the serving dishes timing were damn long lo , it took like 15 mins interval to serve one dish. We were damn pek chey ther , coz we knew we were late for the lessons. But no choice la ... IN the end we were late for the lesson as we reached the classroom at 1.20pm . (eh we went to buy milk tea too ~~~ )


Think time passes v fast , v soon the sch ended. We went with the same bunch of friends with the guys to go to the technological building at XU JIA HUI. Me n marg wanted to checkout the portable hard disks price. Think go with the guys better as they can give us advice on it . Most hard disks are ranged from 499-1399 depends on the memory size and the brands. Haben decided on any , gotta consider carefully lo. In the end , only JUN QIN bought a logitech wirelessmouse & keyboard for 260rmb , think it's worth it ba . After which we walked v far to have our dinner as we could not find any nice restaurants round tt area. The dinner was nice. I had "fried beef hor fun" which tasted good and Mel's ramen also not bad. After the filling dinner , the girls decided to go shopping while the guys had to return to the computer shop to replace the keyboard as JQ realised the usb cable was missing. So we separated along the way. the 6 of us went to to shop . Actually nothing much , the shops ther are still mainly selling computer products. Haiz .. but the girls managed to find a shop selling herbal facial/skin products and got what they needed. We left XU JIA HUI @ around 9pm.


By the time we reached home, it was like 10pm liaoz , the same routine again . Took a bathe turn by turn. By 11.15pm, me & mel went to bed liaoz ... as there were lesson today.

Heee .. ytd nite , mel fell aslp on the bed , in order not to disturb her , i went over to Marg's room t o orr orr , not bad lehz , i could still fall slp on her hard bed . Actually her room warmer than mine lo. At least, in the nite, i kicked my blanket away due to the strong heat coming from the heater that is beside me. Mafan marg marg for the nite, felt so paiseh .. anyway ,THANK YOU MARG for not letting me sleep in the living room .... =P


K .. as for me and MEl, todae we got the day off from the office, tt's why i woke at ard 10am , you know the reason why i woke up ma , Coz TAN MEIXIAN woke me up wita phone call asking me whr to have dinner tonite. OMG la...Wrong timing ! Made me lost my precious "lai chuan" sleep. Anyway , when i was awaken by Marg and Qiaoli nthe mrng ard 7am , i fell down from the bed . COz i am used to turning on my left when i slept with mel , but i forgot i was sleeping on Marg's bed and i should have turn on my right !!!!!!!! Luckily , i did not hurt myself , if not i gonna have injuries all over my body as i am already having bruises on my right arm and hip from the fall in the toilet.


K well , when i stepped out from the room with my blanket and pillow , i discovered te room was locked ! Din noe Qiaoli and Marg actually locked me inside , but of course i can unlock it from inside la .... Think the 2 of them are kinda used to locking the dog when they are out ! Anyway , mel was sweeping and mpping the floor .... Ehhh... guilty to say tt i din help her coz i was having my breakfast. sorry Mel . K , we slacked on the living room watching some tv drama until 12pm then mel started to do her usual stuff like washing her hair wearing contacts etc while i still slack until 12.20pm then i started to get changed, getting ready to leave the home. We went to "7 pu".


B4 gng to the bus sto, i went to the post ofice first to post my letter then to the KODAK photo shop to check whether we can get Qiaoli's pics . But we went on a futile trip laas the pics were not ready yet. Then we walked all the way to the 929 bus stop. The journey took us ard 45 mins , but fortunately , we got seats ! We reached the destination at 2.10pm sharp. Then we started shopping. We thought of gng to the shopping block juz right in front of the bus stop where wealighted to look for Mel's targetted shoe . But din manage to see any s fancy . So we juz went to the next block , to the shop where she saw the NIKE shoe last time. The selling price was 180rmb , but Mel budget was 100rmb . After much neg , she got it at 110rmb , but she looked happi la, at least got what she wanted . Then , we shopped ard , esp saw mani heels and boots but sad to say , Mel could not find heels of her size. And i was prepared to get it today . So we left the mall ard 3.30pm. We decided to walk to "old shanghai street" to have a look. Waa ... think we walked damn long !!!!!!! Almot 40 minutes on foot. Then we reached FU YOU LU. There's this mall selling all kinds of acessories , watches , silk , paintings etc and are those shops that can bargin wan . so next shoppin area shld be there le ba ! Not long , we discovered it's like 4.30pm liaoz , so mel was like saying to take bus to go home meet the rest for dinner liaoz and we left the place. We walked for like 5 mins and reached the bus stop . We reached our home bus stop at ard 5.05pm. we walked over to the pic shop and collected QL's pics as well as meeting marg ther. Then we went to the bakery shop to get our breakfast b4 walking home to wait for MEixian.


At ard .20pm , we left home walking to have dinner at a store near our house. the 4 of us had GAI JIAO FAN costs abt 6rmb each. Not nice wan . never visit tt store again ! Haha .. . then went home slack lo ... watched tv and type this blog . SO SIANZ ... tmr gonna start sch liaoz , gotta wake up earli at ard 6am as we gtta spent an hr to reach the sch. Gotta end here =) Gd nITEZ

v v v sad to realise that recently my appetite has grown bigger , i think most of the GIP students in Shanghai felt the same too ba =P . this mayb due to the cold weather , coz in order to keep warm , gotta eat ! and of course store more fats rite ~~~ Aiya , juz hope when summer comes , can do some running liaoz. Guys, time to get track shoes liaoz .... hahaha


Now i am in the office doing the same routine , waiting for the lunch hour to come ba. think in anther 30 mins, when the clock strikes 11.30am. Shall wait patiently lo. No choice also. Eh can start thinking of what to eat later though it will be "mixed rice" . Juz hope the dishes available today would be nice . Oh ya , forgot to update that the people here eats salty stuffs wan. Every dish is salted to a degree tt sometimes i could not take it . Jialet , wonder when i return to Singapore will my tastebud be still working properly ma , lolx .


Ytd dinner , we ordered "wai mai" , 3 dishes and a soup with 5 rice. Ytd had dinner at home with Mel, Marg , Whyeheng and Meixian. QIaoli & SHimin wanna take something plain so they cooked poridge instead . Anyway , Ql is down with diarrheao lo, hope she recovers fast ! By the way , forgot to write in my blog tt on my birthday , Whye heng actually gave me a "fei lun hai" biscuit , realli kind of him la , i appreciated tt ! Ytd meal was nice and fulfilling . Oh ya had a secret to tell . Coz me,mel n marg was at home when the delivery man sent the food , n when we saw the rice quantiy , we decided to scope our share to whye heng's and meixian's. V funny lo , when the 2 of them came home , they tot that the shop realli gave alot of rice wan and commented that next time we could share the rice liaoz....hahahhaha i'm so sorry Xian and Heng ! wahahah.


Well well , after dinner routine was to watch show from my labtop. Ytd was watching , quite an old show , but it was realli nice lo. I love those fire-fighting show , they're realli heroes to me ! Hehe .. though watched halfway, chatted with dear on webcam . Then felt like sleeping at ard 10pm so ended the conversation. I went out to brush my teeth and went to QL and Marg's room to KPO abit. When i returned to my room , saw Mel was alrdy alsp under her blanket. So i helped to cleared her labtop away. Too bad , woke her up again . Ytd wanted to slp in Marg's room wan , but tot of the hard bed , made me considered twice. I was abt to go and ask mel to leave me some space to slp on her bed when she woke up and walked out of the room, i even got a scare lo. I can say , since i came here , my sense of fear is v great lo. So after a while , i juz went to bed with Mel at ard 10.20pm. Realli nice to sleep earli la , i can see tt my lifestyle changed liaoz.I gonna be a earli sleeper coz i cherish my life ! Hahah ... k la... gng for lunch liaoz ... update again tmr .

today weather : 2-6 degrees with big cold wind


Nowadays , went to the office realli is to SLACK. Nuttin to do sia , still waitin for a student "zhan bo" to pass me n mel the infos needed to set up a website, gng to rot till decompose in the office liaoz. Everyday , my daily routine will be :

1. set up my labtop
2. login to msn
3.go to www.yahoo.com.sg
4. Play games / read news
5. Go to CNA website and read interesting news worldwide
6. Watch movies (current one is )
7. Check email and update blog.


OMG ... see isn't bored , imagine from 9am-5pm , i gotta drag the time slowly. The most anticipated moment will be the 20mins lunch break cos i can get outta the office , and also to talk to Mel. At least can open my mouth ! Buai tahan to sit down ther like a buddha , nuttin to do .. tt's not my type ! Haiz ~~~ sian sian sian ...


Well , talking abt ytd , after work , i set off home with mel to have dinner at home. At first , Marg told me Meixian would be cooking so i tot can juz go home and slack , wait for dinner to be served. But who knows, end up , me n marg gotta be the chef as meixian was home late. I reached home ard 5.30pm, then meixian would be home like6.30pm , by the time she came back and cook , we would be dead meat lo. So me n marg started to defrost the meats , washed the vegs , cooked the rice. Oh ya , finally we bought a small rice cooker , costs 60rmb. Not bad la , at least can have decent meal. Okay toking abt the dishes , we cooked 3 dishes and a soup. The soup was cooked by marg (named "si chuan soup"). Then i in charge of cooking meat and egg . The egg i mixed with crabmeat and onion and fried . At least i thinking of cooking omelette wan , but ended up , i dunno wat i was thinking, it became scrambled egg . Haha ... as long as it's edibl , shldn't be a pro ! Then the pieces of meat , i cooked with spinach and hua diao jiu. Not bad lo , my fav dish of all. Then marg in charge of cooking the veg . Of course , Mel was the cutter of the day , coz me n marg did not know how to cut garlic , onion and spinach . By the way , i tried cutting the onion until tears were flowing lo. CMI sia. Haha lolx. Overall , had a nice meal with Mel , Marg , Qiao li and Meixian . Shimin wasn't at home . Anyway ,the food was all grabbed up . No pieces left on the plates .SHiok .. everyone's appetite became bigger with each passing day .. juz hope wun grow fatter each day can liaoz ..... wahahahahhahahaha


Oh well , ytd i v jialet lo. Went to bathe and had a fall in the toilet. I wasnt wearing the toilet slipper as i wanted the whole bathing session to get it over fast. Ytd was very cold lo, i was like shivering in the toilet . Buai tahan ... then once i finished getting dressed and was abt to reach for the door , i slipped and fell. A loud THUMP lo .. but think my flat mates tot i was washing the clothes , coz i hit the pails. My whole right ass was on the floor and the pant was wet again . Haiz .. blamed myself for being tt DENSE lo. hee ... After getting into my room , i saw a whole large patch of blue black on my hip liaoz. OMG.. buai tahan. Bo bian lehz .. dunno what to do with the blue black. Hope it will disappear by itself.


After tokin to dear on the webcam , i fell alsp on my bed. Was lazy to get up to brush my teeth and switched off my com. but ard 11.10pm , i was awaken by my stupid dream la . I saw mel sleeping soundly on her bed liaoz. I went to the toilet and brushed my teeth b4 coming into the room to checkon mel again. I tried to pull out her com but she woke up. din mean to wake her up wan ... hee . In the end ,she woke up and cleared her things then both of us went to bed . Oh ya .. since a mth ago , i started sharing the bed with mel as sth scary happened and i had this fear of darkness . Gotta sleep with someone , if not i dun think i can sleep soundly. V paiseh to bring trouble to mel also . No choice lehz ... but i will try to overcome the fear asap.

Happi 22nd birthday to me !!!!

Well, received the most romantic gift thruout the 22years of life , a bouquet of flowers frm dear , special delivery from US shop. Not bad sia ... the flower was named "you're my sunshine" ,tt's why dear bought for me =) thank you dearie ! though the delivery man called me in advance , luckily sia, i was abt to leave home liaoz. THe poor delivery man still got to send the flowers in the big rain, poor thing ! haha ...

K la, the whole celebration is still k . we set off from hse ard 2.30pm , went directly to JING AN SI station . then we went shopping lo. the shopping ther damn posh lo, like singapore's taka. Got alot of imported brands , also not to mention the price la . i din get anything except bought a piece of beard papa's pie , the green tea wan , damn nice lo, singapore dun have wan.and it costs like 7rmb, may ard 1.40 sing. Can bua few more next time. hee ... except tt i will grow fat ba. After walking ard till 5pm , we decided to hunt for restaurant. The 6 of us were looking at either jap or chinese cuisine ba. and since yuan shan was meeting us at 6pm , we went in the jap restaurant first. Dunno why the rest chose jap food , though i dun realli mind the food type , i juz wana FILL my stomache nia. The restaurant name wsa " teko tori" or smething lidat. Not bad la .. the ramen costs like 20-25rmb and the atmosphere still okay. We juz ordered ramen and some small dishes like fried shrimp and chicken wings. Talking abt the chicken wings , damn nice lo. The outside was so cripsy and the sauce so unique, got chance can eat again. *drooling******
After the meal , we decided to chill out at coffee bean , we were damn excited to see the cafe lo. Coz everywhere there's STARBUCKS but no coffee bean in sight , finally we saw coffeebean. SO happy lo. Eh i ordered a regular ICE BLENDED "THE ULTIMATE". Not bad sia .. taste the same as singapore's. It costs like 31rmb = $6.20 . More ex ? i dun mind. as my whole day expenses were shared by the 6 people . Lolz.. dun have to spend a singl cent , first time so SHUANG lo. lols . Oh ya , they bought a piece of new york cheesecake for me as the birthday cake too. Quite sweet of them . Though no candles, they used toothpick and make "22" symbol . Hee ... theni were made to wear a pocked dot handband to take a pic. Diaoz ... Mel still sae later she had nightmare at nite sia. Haahhahah .......... damn funny lo. Want to see the pic , muz ask me sia.
The chilling session ended ard 9 plus ba. Since tmr's monday and all gotta work , we went home straight. It was a chily and cold night . we were like walking damn fast to the mrt station . V cold ... well , overall think each person spent almost like 70rmb ba. NOt bad liaoz la. Every birthday celebration spent almost the same price. See how big spenders we are ! haha .. enjoying each day with food !

Wed ytd din realli do much thing la , slacked in the office whole day lo .. imagine i have finished reading most of the news on channel newsasia website ? I am tt bored lo ... then in the last 1 hr , i go yahoo website and played the games , of course is guang ming zheng da wan ... dun care whether the colleaguesaw me notz , since they din give me anythignt to do , then not my problem liaoz , rite ?


Hee ... well , then after work met meixian, whye heng , alvin n marg for dinner at a restaurant near our place. Had beef dan hoon and a bowl of wanton soup. only costs like 7rmb ($1.40) , eat until full full. Then after that , went to the shops along the way to buy bubble tea (3rmb = $0.60) hehe .. njoy life sia . The food here is still k la , compared to singapore of course is cheap la .. but some well-known / posh restaurants, the price is comparable !


K , this mrng (thur) same thing woke up at 7.15am , kenna awoke by my hp alarm , it was raining lo, dun realli feel like waking up to go work coz basically ther;s NOTHING to do ther also . My god .. it's wasting my precious time , so i decided to watch "the guardian" in the office. Same thing , left home with MEL , we were the last to leave home every mrng. Walked ard 10 mins to the mrt station . too crowded liaoz .. everyday the stat was packed . V sianz of this kinda of life , but bo bian , no space also muz try to push ur way in ! Used to it liaoz ... when the train juz passed a stop , i received a call from marg marg , she said she felt giddy and gng to blackout soon. I was so shocked that i quickly told MEL and cant wait to get to "people square" asap. COz in singapore, i got more than 3 times got the same feeling/situation as marg , ttt's why i und her plight. In 15 mins, we met marg, saw her face as white as paper lo, so asked her to take a seat and rest. Aiya though me n mel are suppossed to reach office @ 9am , but who cares rite , since nothing better to do wan, late also nvm ... but i did informed the prof abt the situation la , n he said k too ... me n mel sent marg home b4 setting to work again . In the end reached office @ 10.35am. Hee .. the colleagues din say anything la ...


Now sitting at my desk, watching the movie and typing this email. Hee .. waiting for 5 more nis then lunch time liaoz ... cant wait sia ... k la .. shall end here .. tok again .

been sick & tired after the trip to beijing & hang zhou. Feel that after the trip , get to know my flat mates better . In a sense , different people have their own "unique" opinions ba, mayb i juz cant understand them enuff. Wonder sometime if there are realli some friends out there who realli understands me deep. I realli dunno ... who are the ones that is realli a true friend ? i am doubtful about everything ....

There's a saying : "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." !

sometimes u may have met a friend who you click well with , but might not treat u in te same way. So , cherish the friends who u think is worth treating and juz ignore the ones who seems so real in front of u but "stab" u behind ur back. In my life , hate backstabbers the most liaoz .. Coz in my views , if i consider u as a friend , i won't backstab u in front of others . Tt is the worst thing a friend can do to u .
JUST remember : NOBODY IS PERECT in this world , not even the angels .

I also dunno why i seemed so fed up , wanna say the f* word mani times liaoz , but luckily my inner conscious still hold me back. Better learn to be more calm and optimistic or i think i will "die" in the native land. LOLz ....

The first chalet that i went this yr is JANICE's. Not bad la, saw mani old friends like Mer & Betty .. chatted with them a while. But think tt day was a bad day for Jan as something cropped up. Hope she can b appeased by the little surprise we sprung. LOLz.. Quite fun lehz.. Mayb u guys can do for me sia...Haha oh ya, thanks Mer mer for her time and effort in driving us there n forth. "Superb nice" driving skill sia! Haha
Oh ya .. i am planning my chalet le..shld be either on the 24th-26th or 3rd to 5th ! B prepared plz ... Ok la.. gotta do stuffs liaoz...

Haiz yesterday met dear dear ... Actually we wanted to watch the movie BUT sadly JP dun have it, so we watched instead ...Please dun watch that show if u dislike oldies ... But if u r interested in EVOLUTION thingy . then u can spend the money to watch la ... It's a boring show ... waste of my time . Hee the story plot was nice..but the images v fake .. can u imagine watching a PLASTIC dinosaur walking ard ???? Haa .... Oh b4 the show, boon treat me to a nice meal of SWESEN. Wanted to have something cheap but he said he had the urge for barbeque sauce type , so i suggested Swesen lo, coz got lunch set ma ... Cheaper than BILLY BOMBER. Haa was reali fun after the lunch .. but as we were rushing for time (gotta finished the lunch in 30 mins,coz of movie) ... Buai Tahan !!! Then we saw the promotion on Swesen mooncakes...so he bought a box of mooncake as a gift for me ... Haa think he spent a big bomb & burnt a hole in his pocket !!! Haa ... poor thing

Eh Todae went Yishun buy new fished to add to my new tank of tropical fishes ... Gng to finish setting my tank soon .. hope it will look nice . And i bought 2 lobsters .. those small type. Coz last time i bought some and reared them, from 5cm now it became 10cm le..so big and FAT !!! Haa hope can eat it... seems DELICIOUS !!!! HEe ... Sadist hoh ... K la, i tmr mrng got tui .. gng sleep le, nid a fresh brain ... Now is lantern festival liaoz ... Hope tmr can enjoy myself at the chinese garden ther .... Take care !!!

*SIGH* wat a week it has been. Finally, gng to have a sch break .. but still nid to spend time more fruitfully on sch work .. COZ got alot of subs to catch up .. been Lagging behind le ... Sianz when sch reopens , think abt 5-6 weeks exam will be round the corner !!!! OH god ... Please give me MORE time ....

Haiz ... this few weeks have been a sick week for me ... Think must be being the "middleman" too mani times le ... got too much problems to handle at a time , plus stress from sch CAs .. CMI sia ... been thinking that if one day, i am the one searching for help , will my friends help me in the way i help them ? *An Answer to be confirmed* Oh well , but i dun expect any return from the help i hav given out ... Being a listeing ear is a happy task to me ... My principle is that - IF i can help, y not ? It wun kill me for doing a bit for my friends ... Haa like v noble hoh ? WHo noes ....

Been listening & handling to mani quarrels nowadays and been v busy in my tui job .. think i've neglected my DEAR ... Hope to compensate him this weekend if possible ... though only Sat we gotta meet ... Hee planning to do something active & EXTRAORDINARY - how abt prawn fishing ? Haa been waiting for this v long le .. hope can fulfil this soon =)

Oh no ... it's time to play online mahjong .. Hee been having the urge to play mahjong .. anyone GAME for it ? I oso dunno why, think Boon's grandparents' house is the best place to play coz the FENG SHUI ther suits me sia .. always win whenever i play ther .. Haa think dun play too frequent with boon's family le .. not good to win too much from them sia ... GRANDMA's money somemore ... Next time find friends to play le ...

Yoz ... I am now in sch waiting for the LAST lecture of the say to come....so sianz ... Cant wait to go home ASAP ... Haiz nowadays got alot of things happen among my friends ( Friendship & relationships) sad sia =( Dunno why one's heart can change so fast wan and dunno why friendships are so vulnerable ... mayb i still got lots of things to learn in life ba !!!

Nowadays ... quite stressed, coz got driving lessons after schools , got tuitions on weekdays and weekends and CAs to cope with ... Haiz but at least i am leading a fruitful life , din waste my life to SLACKING !!! Haa =) Of course, because of the financial gains la ... bo bian lehz , since i enter uni, think my spending power increases , learning to enjoy life liaoz ... think in future, i better get a high earning job..if not dunno how to survive sia !!!

Hi hi ...sorrie for not updating for so mani mani mani weeks ... been busy since school reopens !!! Now worst ... got to finish Lap Report and CAs coming too ... STRESSED !!! Lately, often have late nights ... think i am growing "OLDER" with wrinkles liao .. poor thing !!!!

Finally, after a few days of hardwork ... Yesterday finished my lap report le .. SO HAPPI ~~~ HURRAY !!! BTw todae my student msged me ... she scored rather well for her CA, another happy news for me !!! Hee ... At least i noe my efforts paid off .... todae gonna start on a new tuition assignment , JC student .. hope i can make it sia .. think i forgot most of the stuffs liaoz ... Hope can still remember sia !!!

Yesterdat went to PUREMILK at JP and bought a shirt for $20 ... MONKEY pattern .. but i like .... My bro la....sae want to have tje privellage card, nid to spend $80 and above then can have it .. then bo bian lo, i gotta sacrifice !!! Poor me ... going broke this mth again ... BUT luvky me, tmr getting my tui pay !!!! haa can spend some of it liaoz ... pamper myself abit ....

Haiz...sch have started for 4 days le ... V sian of it ... New subjs and new friends ... like a total new environment !!! Haiz ..... ***sigh**** Hope can get past this sem ASAP ... Cannot tahan liaoz ! Think yr 2 subjs siong sia ... got so mani things to learn and gotta specialise liao .. Haiz sometimes i think " wat for we study all that subjs for ... we wun b using it in our future job wat ... I juz like learn n forget lo(though will remember some part la)" Haiz since sch started ... gotta buy new textbks too ... so far i only bought one at 37 bucks .. the rest i still contemplating whether to buy or not ... JUz discovered that my ENE cohort is abt 100 ppl ... 25 of it is guy and 75 gals..... Haha the guys gonna b bullied for sure !!! Hee =) BUt oso good la...more gals can work better together ma !!!!

Wa todae went for the MICROBIOLOGY lecture ... then learn that the sch might cancel the class for this sem coz the class is realli small - only 8 lo ... the whole lecture theatre only got 8 pathetic SOULS .. haiz too bad i gotta wait for the news lo... (since the course is suppossed to be in next sem). Then hoh, i am dropping my JAP ge .. coz the timing is reali bad and i think i cant put my full attention in learning it well..so might as well postphone it to inter-sem then i take !!! Hee .. now my timetable v slack..only 18AUS .. now gotta think of wat course to add on !!! ***Headache sia****

Haa we chatted and tok as we ate lo ... had lots of fun ... esp me n IMEE keep on made stupid mistakes/actions !!! Haa .... Never mind, dun wish to elaborate !!! Haa ...

I'Ve GoT a NIECE ~~~~

HIhi ... todae very tired but happi...Coz I've a NIECE !!! Haa ... This morning actually very sian wan .. coz nid to wake up @ 8.30am for tui @BOON's hse ... HAiz bo bian ... Then hoh when i was on the Stupid slow BUs 180, i received a sms from my god-dasao ... She said " Hey, my little princess was born @ 11.40am yesterday". wow ... I was so shocked but happi for my GOD-bro and dasao. Haa.. that was the thing that brightened up my day !!! =)

Very fast the 2hrs tui was over by 12.30pm ba .. i cancelled today's evening tuition to go visit my GOD-niece and meet CHUN too. Hee me & BOOn took bus 960 from his hse and alighted @ BUGIS coz that boy of mine nid to collect his SIEMENS hp from service. Then we had lunch @ the SIMPLY THAI shop. Hey believe though the food was VVVVVVV ex, it is nice !!! I had the TOM YAM noodle set. think was $7.50. BUt hoh, first time TOM YAM soup is transparent color. Not reddish wan ... but the soup is still so DELICIOUS ~~~~ YUMMY !!! Haa after this hearty meal, i went to a CAKE shop at the basement and bought a OREA CHEESECAKE for chun lo ...

THen boon accompany me take bus 12 to meet BIRDIE. Hee ... Made a stupid communication mistake --- Chun told me to alight at CK, but i tot is CP(CHinatown POint) then in the end have to walk all the way down ... After passing CHUN the present, me n Boon took bus 33 all the way to NUH. I made another mistake --- I alighted at the wrong stop...shld have listened to BOON's sdvise ... haiz then we walked about 4km back to NUH. Then from the entrance, still have to walk a long way to the ward..wa tiring sia.... I bought a FISH ESSENCE plus some high calcium JACOB's biscuits from 7-eleven .. i tell u, i spent a BOMB... coz the shop realli sell more ex than outside stalls. Haa ....

When we arrived at the ward ... I was v excited and ran in..... We walked past a nursery, there was abt 3 babies...V cute lehz ... Then i walked in my DASAO's room which is a A-class room. SAw my god-bro ther first .. HEe passed them the food and then i walked over to the Baby's trolley. Wa ... Wat a beautiful princess !!!! realli lehz, her hair is so thin and nice ... and her eyes double eye lids wan ... besides that, she is quite "long" ... coz my bro sae average height shld b abt 25cm-38cm but this NIECE of mine actually stands @ 48cm .... wa .... Next time sure grow up to be a tall gal gal ... Hee hope can teach her play NETBALL !!!! Haa ... Then me n boon keep on staring at the baby gal ... We watch her actions , her expressions and stuffs ... think can feel that my bro and da sao seems v v v HAPPI ... though they sae it's tiring ( COZ my da sao went thru 11hrs of labour) ... Then we chatted lo ... When we chatted abt her room fees ... My bro sae it's abt $600 per day (excluding all the diapers, towels,food etc), that stupid BOON suddenly said next time let me stay in CLASS C ward better ... I almost Kick his ass !!! SO "mei liang xin" .... Haa ... but overall the chat with my bro and da sao was enjoyable.....

After staying for abt an hour plus....we left with reluctance....but bo bian la... think my bro and da sao v tired, so better let them rest lo... it was abt 8pm when we left the hospital .. quite hungry .. so BOON and i took a cab to CLEMENTI food centre makan !!! HEy if u guys have the chance .. go there and have the "TAN LENG HOCK" western food k .... it is the BEST ever ... HAa ... Then we have some SATAYS (v nice also) ..... SInce we r hungry, we finished the food quite fast and left the place for home.

When i reached home, wa realli tiring sia ... todae went so mani places at a go .... then all of a sudden, i rem i forgot to tell chun abt the cake i put in the bag with her presents. I sms her ... but it was too late .... She did not open up the bag till 10pm lo... OMG !!!! But happi to hear that she likes my presents and the special card i made for her .... Hee K la... Gotta rest le...tmr first day of sch .... Hope everything goes fine !!!!! Take care ...

Yo y so great that ytd gathering was quite a success ... finally the gals get together !!! Hee all thanks to my organisation skills .... (Haa So BHB, i noe) Haa but there was a regret la ... only 6 out of 9 turned up .. haiz hope next time can have a FULL gathering lo ...

Oh ya .. tALking abt this gathering .... Now i noe that gals are realli "LATE creatures" sia ... We r suppossed to meet at 6pm but ....... we waited till 7pm then all gals reached .. DUh ?! Now i noe next time what i should do le .... HAa =) Oh we discussed on the spot on where to have dinner .... Suggestions such as BREEKS, NYDC, Crystal Jade etc. Finally ... we persuaded Peggie to have NYDC. Haa ... eh most of us ordered Oven Baked Pasta... erm ... it was realli DELICIOUS & CREAMY !!!! Next time can go n have again since it's quite affordable. each of us spent abt $11.30 for a FULL meal..... Hee then we went shopping around lo .... and TOOK pics with Jing's camera. ONLY Till 10pm then we went our separate ways.

BY the time i reached home, it was abt 10.45pm le .... i watched 15 mins of the "TAN PAN ZUAN JIA" ... hey that show was realli great sia .. but till now it still all abt LOVE plots. SO mayb i gotta wait till a few more episodes ba ...

As for todae...Chun wanna ask me out .. but i have got her gifts all ready yet ... Hee so Paiseh Birdie... Dun worry i will wait till ur work over de ... Haa .... Okay la... i am gng for my tui le .... See ya ...

Sick Day ...

Haiz ... wat a stupid SICK day for me !!!! Woke up ard 1pm in the afternoon then started sneezing away .. think is the weather ba ... SO cold when i woke up ... Haiz ... todae nuttin much to do, juz that got tuition in the evening time ....

Well well... come to tok abt this student of mine ... 2 words "BUAI TAHAN" haa ... coz ar... also dunno why nowadays students like "PROBLEMATIC" - got alot of questions to ask wan, esp nonsense !!!! Sometimes dun even want to ans them ... (***some is i dunno the ans ether****) Haiz but her attitute still k la, at least she is not diff to teach, as in she has a SMART brain just like her sisters and bro who went thru uni !!!! UNBELIEVABLE man ... whole family uni substance !!! Hee ...

Now i got a thinking -- always wanna seek some ans .....

I was readin the newspaper one day regarding the bombings in LONDON. I was thinking of how come LIFE are so fragile ... As in like after the world trade centre disaster, then alot of natural disaster & bombings started .... Dun understand why some ppl like to bomb ppl, so SINFUL .... somemore, how come disasters keep on coming ... So mani lives were lost during the tsunami attack, looking at the scenes of the dead bodies lying orderly on the ground, felt so sad for them ...... HOw come GOD create ppl and let ppl suffers ? Hope peace will PREVAIL soon =)

Another response was on the NKF thingy .. wat duh ?! I was so shocked when i know that the CEO actually gets $25000 per mth ???? It's so ironical sia ... They keep on asking for donations when the staffs actually get more than wat the patient are spening ? These people realli make ppl to lose trust in NKF. Haiz ... thinkning of being a volunteer at NKF but now ... forget it la ... wait till this scandal is over !!!

Hi hi .... wat a bad day for me ?! I went to the dentist with ching this morning and have one of my DECAYING tooth filled up !!! But it was so painful man & it costs SO MUCH ($83)... Now still got the sensation, feels v weird ... Haiz but i still ate like normal .... Oh well ... after the dentist, i went TBP with ching to have our lunch (LJS) ... Then after that went to buy 4D , ching bought $2 too ~~~ Haa bad influence sia !!!!
Then we went separate ways ---- Ching went home & i went to visit my grandma .... stayed until 4pm then went back to TBP meet IMEE !!! Yesh ... she is back from INDO, we went to a RAMEN restaurant on the 2nd storey ... NOT BAD lehz , u guys should try it out ... And most importantly, the price is resasonable la .... So no worries =)
WE chatted and sat down at the restaurant for 2 hrs i think, then imee suggested gng to KOPITIAM for dessert .... Abt 6.30pm, we decided to go home le... BUT i saw MEIJI fair at the ground level and asked IMEE to check it out with me .... For those who likes chocolates and ice cream, go CHECK it out .... Got quite alot of varieties and it's at lower price .... I boudght abt $15 worth of the tidbits and IMEE also bought quite a lot la ... TT's abt the session today !!!!
Tmr , i am gonna b stucked at home doing nuttin !!! Mayb gng to play MING XIN SAN QUE YI ( mahjong game) .... Take care

I was busy working for the past few weeks ... Got alot of things to catch up now ... outings here n there ... & TUITION too ~~~~ ArRGgggghh ..... Hate it man ... Oh ya..i now planning for my taiwan trip in DEC, hope it will b fine sia...Wun wan to waste so much $$$$ and get nuttin .. Urm... Guess Chun's n Wei's bdae coming along rite..any program ???

Eh me n boon 21st Month juz passed....time flies sia...so long le...hee hope things will get better not worse !!!! Well, by the way, i have been investing quite alot in lottery now since there is a better way of betting, the iBET, can spend $1 and get 24 permutations....So why not ? Haa =) Eh ya, juz got my addidas jacket with my own savings ... abt $70 + lehz, my HEART aches sia ... but bo bian, it's too nice to resist the Temptation !!!!

Hi guys .. sorrie that i have not been updating this blog...been busy since Dec ... In dec was busi with my grandpa and grandma stuffs ,gotta go hospital visit him & my grandma .. also been busi in work(aka selling uniforms) ... when school reopens in jan, busy catching up with the pace lo ... too stressed le ... Thankz god i can still proceed till now !!!!
Chinese new year has passed, got about $200+ ang pow money ... not alot la ... Then oso win around 70 bucks from boon's family during blackjack and mahjong!!! Super gd luck during the 1st 4 days of new year ... then my grandpa started falling sick and getting weak ... finally, he passed away on Vdae ... haiz ... So sudden sia, juz visited him with boon the day b4 .... At least i got to see him the last time !!! Then last week was so busi attending funeral rites till Friday ... i was so tired man ... felt that everything was going wrong for me ... Till now, still cant accept the fact that my grandpa has left us .... Guess time will heal everything la !!!
Eh now, holiday le ... Got tons n tons of things to do ... firstly, got to catch up those lectures and tutorials i have missed, then got to finish my lab report, prepare my effective communication report, study for 3 CAs and of course to do my tutorials la .... Somemore got 5 tuition sessions this week, gotta make up for last week as i was busy with my grandpa's funeral stuffs. haiz ... hope i can get past this week and get on with the rest of the semester ... Cant wait to relax and enjoy life !!

BusI HoLiDays

Hi all... w now then i discovered i v long nvr update my blog le...think almost a month le since exam ended ... Hee sorrie ar...been v busi, almost everyday got programmes ... trying to enjoy myself as much as possible b4 sch reopens lo ... Think next sem more busi sia...

Oh ya, these few weeks spent time with alot of ppl la... twice went Jan's hse for mahjong, once met them for lunch,met ching for dentist appt(ching discovered she nids to fill her teeth),went out with boon more often and of course my tuition job lo .... Wa this 2 weeks, keep on having steamboat at boon's hse,his mum bdae,his cousin bdae and boon's Bf ... realli sianz sia and of course broke le,LOLX ...

Yesterdae was boon's bdae, spent the whole dae at his hse. In the mrng i got tuition ma, then ard 11am i went JP Swesen collect the ice cream cake n went boon's hse le... QUite a surprise for him i think as i woke him up from the sleep,asking him to blow the candle...Haa **YUMMY** the cake was so nice,now i noe why the price oso v "nice" le ...Then we ate with his sis. Haa then after that... helped his sis and mum prepare for the steamboat lo...washed vegetables,prepare the "xian cao"(the grass jelly drink) and bring out all the food and stuffs la , spent almost 2 hrs doing that ... so by 3pm, everything was rdy. Then finaly can sit down and rest le .. waited an hour for ppl to come b4 we started eating.Not bad la ... Ate quite alot .... But as there were mani ppl,cant eat long oso, gotta let other ppl wat,so minimize my appetite sia... Haa abt 6pm, boon cut the 2nd cake which his bro bought for him . V funni lehz, the cake got DOREMON wan,like a kid's cake. Haa but the mangoes on it was nice la... After which, we played mahjong with his aunt,bro n grandma...I played in boon's place la and lost $24, so suay sia ... No luck la !!!
Oh ya, tmr getting results le..hope everything will b fine ar...Got my econs result, got an 'A', haa so happi coz my CA din do well,quite surprised. Hope i dun fail my phy ar... Haa k la..gotta sleep liaoz, tmr mrng got tuition again.... Take care guys !!!! Hope Chun n Imee can come back soon ....

Hi all, I finally ended my 2 weeks exam le...so happi ... Gng to plan all sorts of programmes liaoz.... Ching,liping n Imee gonna be my companions sia....
Haa ... Ytd after my last paper, MAterial Science paper, me , ching , boon & 7 others schmates (Jilline,Mandy,Keteng,RYan, Kelvin,Yuan Shan & Kevin), we decided to go for lunch at orchard. Originally,we wanted to go Cuppage road alley there for "La mIan" but then ching suggested wanna go Mos Burger ... U know all our replies ??? We told ching to meet us after 30 mins' time ... Haa Finally, after much considerations and due to the rainy weather, we went to the nearest Pizza Hut at Centre point. We ordered alot of things la, especially my table(Ching.me,boon,Kelvin & Kevin) we ordered 6 persons' meal....ate until v full sia... But overall, we had a nice n delicious lunch after our exam la....
After which, Kelvin n Boon left us....The others walked in the drizzling rain from centre point all the way to lucky plaza ... For me , i was very reluctant to walk such a long way but bo bian leh since everybodi want to go there for pool as the price n quality is better. At the 6th level, we made a grave mistake by following Ryan to the pool shop named "Mambo" . Though the atmosphere was gd, the PRICE is v shocking !!!! Can u imagine paying $10.80/hr for a game ? It's almost the same price as "Monster-Cue" lehz..... We played at the place for an hour b4 leaving for the other nearby shop named "Hot shot",it's only $4/hr. At the place, we booked 3 tables. Me n ching - 1 , kelvin n Kevin - 2 , Jilline.Mandy n yuan shan - 3. We had a great time lehz....Quite fun la !!!! Din noe my classmates are a gd bunch of friends to hang out with until yesterday ...
Boon came to meet me at Lucky plaza after our dismissal ... We went to Taka n shop lo ... Our dinner was settled with a few types of finger food like Beard Papa Chessesticks,Tako yaki etc. We shopped n ate at the same time la....We din shop too long as i was realli v TIRED n EXHAUSTED !!!! We left shortly for home !!!
Todae, boon came to my hse earli in the morning at 8.30am. My mum was awaken by his phone call n woke me up telling me that boon was rite outside my hse. He came directly from Cheng Yao's hse as he n a few friends ton at his hse ytd nite. We had breakfast together b4 gng to his house where we watched HOT CHICKS on SCV. It was a damn funny show .. but interesting too ... =) K i leaving his house now to shop liaoz ... @@ ya take care n njoy the HOLS !!!!! God Bless ...
