been home for one week exactly ! Went to alot of places to eat .. but sadly, hasnt got the chance to meet up with alot of ppl .. and i am getting back to work =) Hehe ...
Went to Cafe Cartel ate the St louis Pork Rib , seafood platter etc , went to Vivocity - a small restaurant named "Green house" which served affordable western food with big servings ! On sat, went to celebrate Boon's father day belated celebration at a chinese restaurant ... Also, went to hawker centre for local food ..... been eating around !Think i am gng to gain weight le, muz start to control my diet ~~~~ =) lolx
Well.. starting to work todae .. gng back to serve Starhub again, at the same time, handling some issues regarding my new business .. hopefully nuttin goes wrong .. trying to keep myself occupied , rather to have extra time to think nonsense !!! Hahaha ... well... getting back to my normal life , the past 5 mths have juz been a dream to me ... a beautiful fantasy to b exact =)

FiNaL TrIp: HuaNgsHaN TrIp
Hello guys ! i am back in Singapore ... =P ended this china trip with a 3 days tour in Huangshan. It's located in An Hui Province. Went with tour .. think in total plus expenses spent about 700 rmb. Anyway .. juz to conclude that this trip was the most fruitful and worthy trip cos i got to see the sunrise , the "clouds" that look likes waves and of course enjoy the company of friends.
It's rather hard to describe the trip words .. so i have posted all the pics up in my MSN space . So take a look there ba .. gurantee the scenery would be awesome ! See u guys soon ...

Great HangOuts with Shanghai Khakis
Well well... counting down ---- 5 days !
On monday, went to work alone as roomie could not get out from her bed ... did nothing much in office also. Juz idling time waiting to have dinner with my supervisor after work. Met roomie at ZHENG DA mall @ Lu Jia Zui. Went to this restaurant @ the 9th storey. OMG ~ it was a grand chinese restaurant, was thrilled tt i could actually had the chance to eat in such awesome atmosphere- restaurant called "渝香酒楼”。 Look out of the window would be the view of the Huangpu river .... So nice. Ordered few dishes for the 4 of us - me, mel, Prof Qian and Prof Weng. The two shanghainese ordered local dishes for us to try out. Overall, it was a gd dinner session, at least could chat with the 2 profs like friends.
On tuesday, as we did not have to report for work since monday, me n roomie stayed home and rot, started packing up our stuffs. Afterwhich, ard dinner time, we set off to CAO BAO road for 2 purposes. firstly, was to leave our gifts for our collegues in the office and secondly was to meet the khakis for dinner at the CHONG QING restaurant. Well, i brought them walk in the rain to the dinner venue.It was like a 10 mins walk distance. Total 9 peep turned up - me, roomie, wh, shan, qiaoli, pauline, yekai, zhizhong and Dap. Could say it was a successful dinner session, as everybodi which we invited turned up =) The restaurant name is "重庆酸鱼菜" and we ordered 酸菜鱼，椒盐猪手，虾皮卷菜心，糖醋小排，番茄炒蛋，蘑菇青菜，冬瓜汤，酒酿丸子 and 3 bottles of SUNTORY beer ! Haha .... Had a super great dinner, was happy that everybodi loved the dishes ~~~~ was like 20 rmb pax. So paiseh that Dap got drenched in the rain ....
Wednesday, as usual, rot with roomie at home in the mrng. Then ard 3.30pm we set off from25 home to close bank accounts first. Then we took a cab to Chang Li road, a place which Dap recommended. Cab fare was ard 25rmb. At first, we could not find the pasar malam stores , but after searching, finally started exploring the area. Went to have dinner at roadsides stores. Then we took this bus to Raffles city to meet housemates for dinner. Since everybodi had already eaten their dinner, i suggested to go to COLD STONE creamery to have dessert. The ice cream was nice ~~~ Yummy ! dun think got the chance to have it when i am back in singapore ! sad =( haha ...

9 Days Left...
This week had been a tiring week. Tt's why i fell sick on Thur, had a v bad headache, immed
after work, went straight home to nap.
Friday, a long day for me, as roomie, King toot and Qiaoli set off to 7 pu for shopping once again. Guess it would be the final showdown for shopping at 7 pu. Actually, i learnt great bargining tactics in China. And i m becoming more confident in myself - this trip has proved to be a fruitful wan, though the work experience wasnt much and my social circle wasnt fruiful. It's k . friends do not have to be in great numbers, juz a few friends with common interest and sincere would do .. great to foster new friendships over here which i felt contended.
Well.. back to the shopping part, i went shopping with king toot, think we shopping from 11am to 5pm ? Dead .. think i spent another 550 rmb on tt day itself. Haha ... but i think it's worth it cos its for friends and relatives ... After this hearty shopping spree, we set off to people square in a cab to look for agency for the Huangshan trip. But first, we alighted at Steakking for a nice dinner .... had sirloin steak and Red tea ! Yummy ~~~ guess i would missed the food here ... With big black plastic bags in our hands, we walked ard people square vicinity and enquired mani tour agencies to seeek the best tour package, took the pamplets home for discussions. At nite, had a short meeting and ended up chose "Da tong" tour agency package which costed 558 rmb pax.
On Sat, earli in the mrng, Yanni came to my house. As i could not wake up in time, i asked her to come my hse and waited instead. We waited for Qiaoli to wake up and call the suit maker at 16 pu , before we set off to make blouses. 16 pu is known for tailoring suits. Most of the GIP grp made their suits and shirts there. Actually i was suppossed to accompany Yanni to make her blouses, but ended up i made 3 myself ! hahaha ... the design sample i saw wasnt bad, so i chose 3 different designs, hopefully it would turn up nice ..... At the building, i oso bought 10 shawls, intended to give my bf's aunties ... and my aunts too ! Hahha ... After that, we went to Shanghai old street to look ard, bought some souvenirs and bags ! Then i brought Yanni's to this Fu you Building which sells all the small little souvenirs type. My eyes and hands v itchy wan, always see nice stuffs will juz get .. haha guess when i returned and unpack my luggages and parcels, will end up having extra stuffs ! hhhaa ... The next destination was to bring her to this spectacle mall at Shangha railway station where King toot met us ther too. Its a underground building with all the specs shops gather. Haiz.. as i couldnt control myself, i got another pair of specs . Hahaha .... 170 rmb for a pair, with Uv and radiation protection. Anyway, its cheap ... so made another pair also k ...
After sending Yanni off in a cab to meet her parents at the bund, me n toot went off for dinner. I brought him to salvaeriya (think spelling wrong) for dinner. COs last time Marg brought us ther before, the western food they served qutie cheap and also in big servings. Not bad .... Went home ard 8 plus. At nite, met The ktv khakis for KTV ovenite session. Had a big room for 210 rmb . the 5 of us took turns to sing, till toot got knocked out ard 4am. Sang till 6am before all set home for our beauty sleep. Woke up ard 12pm , met toot for lunch at 1pm. Waa piang .. now v full. Gng to rot at home whole day liaoz... see whether tonite got the chance to go mahjong session ba ..

p/s: IN this independent life, i realised that most ppl tends to b selfish, only think for themselves and not for others. ** haiz*** i grown up again ! hahah

BagS of Gifts
Todae is Wed, the mid-day of the week and i took off from work and went to 7pu with roomie and Whye heng. Wa piang ... tt Mr toot wanted us to meet 7.45am lo, cant imagine holiday also muz wake up so earli for shopping !
Well.. after having breakfast (Siew Mai and SOya Bean) , we set off to 7pu. Could u imagine that juz stops after,the bus broke down and we got to alight and wait for another bus, suay day ! Second time me n roomie encountered such situation. In the end reached 7 pu at 9.45am. Roomie and i spilted up to shop, and mr toot was with me. The first thing we went to is the SHOEs section. i Bought 2 pairs of heels and a pair for my mum. Ah toot bought like 3 pairs in total ???? Well ... whyeheng's bargininig skill still not tt bad ... though most of time i helped him set the price =P Secondly, went to this bag shop. Mel came and met us ther. AND i bought 3bags while WH bought 5 ? Hahaha .. had a hard time bargining ther... After which, went to buy some clothes - polo tees ! Hahaha he again bought 7 and i bought 2 ! Haha ... WH like buy in large numbers wan ! Scary ~~~ din know guys buy things in bulk wan .... Then we went to look for clothes in the next blk.
Think in total i spent like 450rmb = $90 ? Okay la... Still considering whether to go again on Fri ... see first. .. haha i like shopping lo ! Anyway, after shopping, took a cab home, then went to Airmail parcels back, another 550 rmb spent in sending parcels back - like 12kg stuffs ! Last time sent 9kg stuffs back liaoz.... Now my luggage hopefully is empty liaoz...haha... After everything was done, went to play pool with WH, think my pol skills sux ! V long nvr play le...muz brush up someday ... =P

KTV spree
In my last blog, i wrote tt Sat nite KTV session shall be my last KTV here in shanghai but who noes ~~~ Yesterday morning, Daphane suddenly sms me jioing me to go KTV, as a farewell session with Bryan, who is Dap's Beijing friend.
Yesterday after work, roomie n i set off to the Sci & tech Museum for shopping and highlighting of our hair. Yesterday think i spent 600rmb at a , shot lo, bought cufflinks, gifts, and key chains for friends, also including the hairdo. We highlighted our hair at "Mentor" , a hair salon which most GIP ppl went to. Costs me 300rmb for haircut, treatment and hightlight. All done in 2 hrs time.
Met Dap's gang at ard 10 plus, though the KTV session started at ard 8.50pm. Haha .. Dap also jio along C cube's hse mates. So touched that Dap actually jio us to go . Hehehee ... well anyway enjoyed their singing company, more happening and FUN lot, more entertainments too (by c cube) hahaha ... Opps ! Well we sang till 1 plus in the mrng before we set off home. Took a cab back home, ended up getting lost on the street. Then the taxi driver was rather pissed,cos he kept on u-turning. In the end paid 25rmb instead of the usual 16rmb ride. Slept at 2am.
This mrng came to work, unexpectedly i was rather awaken sia. not tired at all.. no wonder peep always say cannot sleep too long, the longer u sleep the more you wanna sleep ! Muhahaha ...
So happi, i juz came back from lunch, went back to that 重庆小鱼馆, that restaurant which sells spicy food. tried out two new dishes - 炸盐猪手 & 鲶鱼. Yummy yummy ~~~ planning to jio friends come to eat before leaving shanghai ! Well.. jkuz took a few shots with my colleagues ard the company, to leave as a memento ! Kinda miss this place lehz... haiz got tt "she bu de" feel .... **sigh** that's life !
Okay .. planning to pon work tmr to go 7 pu shop ... this time round muz get all the stuffs at one go liaoz..cannot drag le, cos no more chance liaoz! This fri most likely setting off to Huangshan, the last trip in China. Gotta see how .. shall update again !

ShagGEd WeeKeNds..But EnjoYable!
Hey it's the month of JUNE => means that another 12 days and i wil be back in singapore ! OMG...time realli pass by without me knowing it !
K starting from 1st June which is a sch day, the attendance was realli bad for class, only 10 pathetic souls turned up (including myself), most were pia-ing their last minute presentation slides at home... After sch, planned to explore another sandwich bar but as roomie was preparing her slides at home, the plan was cancelled, i ended up having my dinner with Zhizhong alone. Went to this small eatery near our house to have "gai jiao fan" , nice food, but the shop made me so uneasy => cos of a kitten. Hahaha ... ZZ was trying to make the kitten go out, but still it kept coming in... in the end i had to ask the boss to put the kitten to somewhere before i had my dinner.
On sat, went to sch punctually and waited for the presentation to commence. I was the 3rd speaker, realli hoped i did not screw the presentation =) Well .. after the dragging presentation till 12pm , we set off for photo-taking sessions in a few spots in the school campus. After which, we were led by teachers to this restaurant named "绍兴饭店”in the school campus to have our farewell lunch, the meal's on the university. Dishes of delicacies kept on filling up the table, the 9 of us ended up wasting alot of food, as we were v v v v full, there were like about 20 dishes ? with fish, buns, soup, chicken etc, those typical chinese dishes. Not sure of the numbers , din realli count ... Took a few shots with the profs..***Last goodbye ****
After the lunch, dap jio us to go her house to take a look, so me, roomie, zhizhong and pauline went with her. Before the house visit, dap took us to this hair salon below her flat for a hair shampoo and massage session for a price of 10rmb = $2, Unblieveable rite? The massage was the best, from head to the back , to the fingers ! Wowow ... so relieved and comfortable that i almost fell aslp. HAHA.
Bought milk tea before setting off to Dap's house. Her apartment is much better than where i live. And what's best is the house is rented by her company... the decor of the flat was cosy and got the home feeling, unlike mine..CMI ! Played with Dap's housemate hamster .. and of course, not forgetting taking photos. Stayed for an hr before we set off to Nanjing East rd for a dinner. Roomie and I planned a dinner to have with some GIP friends before we left. Set the venue to b at BABELA , the italian restuarant.
A total of 11 peep turned up for the dinner - me, roomie, Whye Heng, zhizhong, Pauline, Yekai , Qiaoli, Yingsi, Jiaxin, Dap and Bryan(Dap's friend). Think we spent a total of 257 rmb on our food. we spilted up in small grps and shared a variery of food.... Well , i can only said i love the pineapple rice there the most ! Till 9pm then we parted . Went home to bathe and get ready for the overnite KTV session at Hao Le Di with the KTV khakis.
the 6 of us - with yekai, Pau, ZZ and whyeheng, shared this small room, but at least it's juz nice, comfortable. Sang the whole nite through , with Junqin and Alvin joining us in the middle for a few songs. It's great singing with these friends ... think that was my last KTV session here in Shanghai liaoz... ***sad** it spells the end of cheap and good KTV venue !
We went home at 6am, met at 7am to set off to 7 pu for shopping. Except for Whyeheng who concussed at home, the 5 of us set off for the shopping trip after a breakfast session. Reached ther at 8.30am, tt was the earliest time i went 7 pu man ! haha... we shopped till 11 plus then went off ... cos everybodi was tired to shop properly. Hahaha .. i slept for like 5hrs and woke up feeeling hungry . Cos din had lunch. Had a bowl of maggie mee ... then jio Whyehng for a mahjong session .
Ard 8pm,together with Pauline, Yekai and Marg, the 5 of us went for mahjong session. Waa... at least i tried their mahjong tiles, much thinner than ours. We spent 2 hrs on playing juz 2 round of wind. Hahah cannot imagine that... cos we played in a relax manner .. and no money involved, so pretty k ... haha
Went back home at 10.30pm, had a cold bath ( cos the heater was spoilt). Concussed at 11.30pm.
This morning, felt realli bad, think had headache, like having a heavy head, woken by roomie cos the basin water pipe bursted, the water was splashing out with water fountain. OMG.think my flat can realli demolished liaoz.... bad facilites ! luckily i am leaving in 12 days !

Think we spent a total of 257 rmb on our food. we spilted up in small grps and shared a variery of food.... Well , i can only said i love the pineapple rice there the most ! Till 9pm then we parted . Went home to bathe and get ready for the overnite KTV session at Hao Le Di with the KTV khakis.
the 6 of us - with yekai, Pau, ZZ and whyeheng, shared this small room, but at least it's juz nice, comfortable. Sang the whole nite through , with Junqin and Alvin joining us in the middle for a few songs. It's great singing with these friends ... think that was my last KTV session here in Shanghai liaoz... ***sad** it spells the end of cheap and good KTV venue !
We went home at 6am, met at 7am to set off to 7 pu for shopping. Except for Whyeheng who concussed at home, the 5 of us set off for the shopping trip after a breakfast session. Reached ther at 8.30am, tt was the earliest time i went 7 pu man ! haha... we shopped till 11 plus then went off ... cos everybodi was tired to shop properly. Hahaha .. i slept for like 5hrs and woke up feeeling hungry . Cos din had lunch. Had a bowl of maggie mee ... then jio Whyehng for a mahjong session .
Ard 8pm,together with Pauline, Yekai and Marg, the 5 of us went for mahjong session. Waa... at least i tried their mahjong tiles, much thinner than ours. We spent 2 hrs on playing juz 2 round of wind. Hahah cannot imagine that... cos we played in a relax manner .. and no money involved, so pretty k ... haha
Went back home at 10.30pm, had a cold bath ( cos the heater was spoilt). Concussed at 11.30pm.
This morning, felt realli bad, think had headache, like having a heavy head, woken by roomie cos the basin water pipe bursted, the water was splashing out with water fountain. OMG.think my flat can realli demolished liaoz.... bad facilites ! luckily i am leaving in 12 days !
Okay..todae gng shopping after work ... gng to enjoy myself before i leave..... take care friends !
