Well well... counting down ---- 5 days !
On monday, went to work alone as roomie could not get out from her bed ... did nothing much in office also. Juz idling time waiting to have dinner with my supervisor after work. Met roomie at ZHENG DA mall @ Lu Jia Zui. Went to this restaurant @ the 9th storey. OMG ~ it was a grand chinese restaurant, was thrilled tt i could actually had the chance to eat in such awesome atmosphere- restaurant called "渝香酒楼”。 Look out of the window would be the view of the Huangpu river .... So nice. Ordered few dishes for the 4 of us - me, mel, Prof Qian and Prof Weng. The two shanghainese ordered local dishes for us to try out. Overall, it was a gd dinner session, at least could chat with the 2 profs like friends.
On tuesday, as we did not have to report for work since monday, me n roomie stayed home and rot, started packing up our stuffs. Afterwhich, ard dinner time, we set off to CAO BAO road for 2 purposes. firstly, was to leave our gifts for our collegues in the office and secondly was to meet the khakis for dinner at the CHONG QING restaurant. Well, i brought them walk in the rain to the dinner venue.It was like a 10 mins walk distance. Total 9 peep turned up - me, roomie, wh, shan, qiaoli, pauline, yekai, zhizhong and Dap. Could say it was a successful dinner session, as everybodi which we invited turned up =) The restaurant name is "重庆酸鱼菜" and we ordered 酸菜鱼，椒盐猪手，虾皮卷菜心，糖醋小排，番茄炒蛋，蘑菇青菜，冬瓜汤，酒酿丸子 and 3 bottles of SUNTORY beer ! Haha .... Had a super great dinner, was happy that everybodi loved the dishes ~~~~ was like 20 rmb pax. So paiseh that Dap got drenched in the rain ....
Wednesday, as usual, rot with roomie at home in the mrng. Then ard 3.30pm we set off from25 home to close bank accounts first. Then we took a cab to Chang Li road, a place which Dap recommended. Cab fare was ard 25rmb. At first, we could not find the pasar malam stores , but after searching, finally started exploring the area. Went to have dinner at roadsides stores. Then we took this bus to Raffles city to meet housemates for dinner. Since everybodi had already eaten their dinner, i suggested to go to COLD STONE creamery to have dessert. The ice cream was nice ~~~ Yummy ! dun think got the chance to have it when i am back in singapore ! sad =( haha ...
