7 days Shopping Spree in Bangkok

Woohooo it's feels good to be home sweet home !!!

Was away in Bangkok since 15th, it was a planned trip with my boy and his family; with my bf as the tour guide. Haha =P checked into a no star hotel named "First House Hotel" , booked from Asiarooms website. It was considered as having the cheapest room rates at $17/night/pax (inclusive of breakfast). First night arrived there, had some supper from 7-11 and rested early.

Second day, first visit to Siam Paragon, the most extravagant shopping mall in Bangkok, almost similar to Sing's Paragon - it has all the imported brands and expensive stuffs here. After which, went to Big-C shopping mall, which has the biggest hypermart in which i bought lots of green curry and tom yam paste from there. Lolz... had the first meal at the food centre there . Realised that one food court contains varieties of food , ranging from Thai to Japanese food; price is reasonable - from 30 to 80 baht (converting based on $1 to 23 baht , so it's abt $1.20 - $3.50). Then went to have dessert at Swesen which only sells ice-cream, with no main courses. But it's cheap - Imagine a 8 scoops EARTHQUAKE at only $11 ??? Then we headed for Hard Rock Cafe at Siam Square, which was also some distance away from my hotel , walked for about 20 mins. Ordered the famous Nachos and pork knuckles and beer !!! We 6 spent about 2000 baht in all . Yummy ~~~

Third Day (Sat) headed to Chatuchak , weekend market. Went there by 3 taxis , costing about 100 bahts per taxi. The market is damn big and crowded, with Ang Mohs and locals. Spent quite alot there, and i love the milk tea they sell there, will miss it when i am. Then to MBK for shopping. Found some bargins over here, love the people there, a friendly lot. Spent the remaining evening at Platinum Mall for shopping.

Fourth Day, headed to Grand Palace and Wat Po. Entrance fee to GP was 250 baht and FOC for Wat Po. The place was magnificent, with gold trimmed border and columns plated with gold. Then headed to Zen Central World, juz 15 mins walk from my hotel for lunch. After which, to Erawan Shrine for praying to the 4-faced Buddha. Spent the remaining hours at Platinum Mall for shopping again - since it's a 6 stories fashion mall.

Fifth Day, went to the "pasar Malam" areas juz below the hotel , i guessed if wanna finish the area , at least 8 hours ba ! The stuffs here are cheaper than all shopping malls, as they sell by wholesale - at least 3 pieces and above. There's this City Complex nearby which is a wholesale centre and i found lots of good bargins here , luckily din spent much at those big malls !!! Haha .... Sent my bf's family home and we rotted at a nearby shopping mall and had dinner at A&W.

6th Day was relaxing, since most of the places have been visited, so we decided to head to Siam Ocean World at Siam Paragon which was the largest underwater aquarium in Asia. The entrance fees (including 4-D movie and boat ride) was originally at 1190 baht , but as it was a tuesday, we only paid 675 baht. Frankly speaking, if u like underwater creatures, it is worth visiting !!!! Much bigger than Sentosa's.

Last day was spent on last minute shopping and also to experience the Foot Massage there. Felt sooooooooooooooo relaxed. The foot massage costs 200 baht for an hour session. The masseuse was Superb, made me wanna bring her home . Hahahaha ..... realli miss the massage, how i wish to go there again !!!!

Good bye, Bangkok .... Taiwan here i comes !!!!

NOTE : SO BURNT !!!
